Late last year South Korean mobile phone manufacturer, released, or perhaps better said, unleashed its LG Optimus 2x mobile device on an unsuspecting world. Known as the world’s first mobile phone to offer a dual core processor, the LG Optimus 2x mobile device is a true speed demon.

With its 8 GB of memory it can easily hold a large chunk of your music files, videos and enough ringtones to last you a lifetime. However, the major selling point of this phone is its super fast processor and excellent video capabilities.The mobile device expands video files to full high definition when linked to an external video device. The LG Optimus brings all the basics you have come to expect from a top of the line mobile phone; it uses Android apps, has a soft QWERTY touchpad, ambient light sensor as well as a gyroscope and accelerometer. The LG Optimus hit the South Korean Market in December of last year and will appear in Europe early in 2011. This new mobile device 2X operates using the Android 2.2 operating system but will be able to upgrade to Android 2.3 when available. High performance Tegrda 2 processor. The cost of a LG Optimus 2X has not been announced, but some sources have suggested it will cost around $600 for a new unlocked model.
